Start: 3:00 pm
End: 5:00 pm
On Sunday afternoons, Santa Fe-based singer-songwriter Laurianne Fiorentino hosts a series of local musicians and writers at Collected Works Bookstore. She'll begin and end the two-hour event with sets of her own indie originals, and present a local writer and musician during each session. On June 3rd, she'll feature poet Laurie Hilton and musician Josh Martin. Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Laurianne Fiorentino's work emphasizes simple intimacy, femininity, space, and complexity - with lyrics of a surprising literary quality. Laurie Hilton is a co-author of Braided Voices, a collection of southwest-inspired poems. She'll read selections of her work. Musical renaissance man Josh Martin plays a diverse set of folk and bluegrass tunes. Martin is popular in the Santa Fe music scene and is known for his role in the bluegrass band Mary on Mars.
