Collected Works Bookstore hosts the Opera Briefings and Breakfast series for a presentation on Wagner's Götterdämmerung.  The Metropolitan Opera Simulcast Presentation will follow at the Lensic Theater at 10.00am.  This event is sponsored by the Breakfast Lecture Team and Collected Works Bookstore with the cooperation of the Santa Fe Opera Guild.  The charge for the lecture is $5, patrons are responsible for their choices from the extensive breakfast menu.  

Guests will be briefed on Götterdämmerung, the conclusion to the Metropolitan Opera's staging of Wagner's Ring Cycle.  The production features Deborah Voight as Brunnhilde, Wendy Bryn Harmer as Gutrune,  Waltraud Meier as Waltraute, Jay Hunter Morris as Siegfried, Iain Paterson as Gunther, Eric Owens as Alberich, and Hans-Peter König as Hagen.
